It's Been Awhile

It has been awhile since my last bloggnig attempt. I have began to think about what I want to be doing in 40 years. I would love to be ahead of the game, financially speaking. I, however, am financially retarded. I can balance my checkbook, pay my bills, and save for vacations. But when it comes to the stock market, CD accounts, money market accounts, etc. I am uneducated. I had a good conversation with my dad last night about what advice he might have for me in this area. He is very wise and gives great advice. I think that I will be in a good position to really look into investing after the new year. My husband and I are planning on celebrating our first anniversary with a trip to the Dominican Republic, where we got married in January. This should be a great time, a well needed break for the both of us. We will celebrate the year, and think about what is to come. And speaking of what is to come...The baby itch has gotten to me. I've been trying to cover it up since about 10 seconds after john and I got married. But I will admit to it now, it has gotten me. At least until the last week...I made my baby sisters come to my house and spend the night. After that it magically disappeared!! So, things are on hold for the time being. I am happy where I am now, enjoying my freedom. This summer has seemed to be a neverending parade of weddings...We have five left to go. With every wedding I attend, I am more and more thankful I did my wedding the way I did..No stress, and absolutely beautiful. I think that that is all that is on my mind today.
